Assign shift (Manager level)

HRStop empowers managers to schedule future shifts and define working days or week offs for their team members. This helps streamline attendance planning and ensures better shift coordination.

Steps to Assign Shifts:

  1. Access Shift Assignment Page
    Go to Main PanelAttendance
    Click on the Shift button in the top navigation bar.
  2. View Employee Shift Details
    A new page will display the list of employees along with their current shift information.
  3. Filter the Employee List
    • Choose to view:
      • Employees directly reporting to you or
      • Employees under your reporting line
    • Optionally, filter by specific Shifts
    • Tick the checkbox to highlight cells where total hours worked differ from the selected time.
  4. Assign a New Shift
    • Select the employee(s)
    • Click Assign Shift
    • Choose the Effective Date and the Shift
    • Confirm by clicking Yes
      (Click No if you decide not to assign the shift)
  5. Update Shift Status (Optional)
    • Select the cells of the employees whose shift status needs to change.
    • Choose the Status:
      • Working
      • Weekly Off
      • Swap (flips the current state to the opposite)
    • Click Yes to save the changes
      (Click No to cancel the update)

=> A success message will appear once shifts or statuses are updated.
This feature simplifies shift planning and gives managers better control over team schedules.
