HRStop allows administrators to enable and manage web-based attendance for employees through the company’s HRStop portal. This feature lets employees punch in and out directly on the portal, making attendance tracking easy and efficient. The admin can customize the web-based attendance settings to suit the company’s requirements.
How to Configure Web-Based Attendance

Access the Attendance Settings
Go to Control Panel → Settings → Attendance → Configure. This will open the attendance configuration page. -
Enable the Attendance Module
At the top of the page, make sure the Enable Attendance Module option is checked.- When enabled, the attendance module becomes active, and employee attendance will be recorded in the portal.
- If this option is unchecked, attendance features will be disabled.

Disable Web-Based Attendance (Optional)
You can choose to disable web-based attendance by selecting the Disable Web Based Attendance option. This will remove the Time In and Time Out buttons from the portal header. -
Configure Attendance Exceptions
Click on Configure Web Attendance Exception to open the exceptions setup page.- Ensure the Enable Attendance Exception option is checked to activate attendance exceptions.
- These exceptions help manage special attendance cases or default exceptions for employees.

Set Department, Designation, and Module
In the exceptions configuration:- Select the Department and Designation for which the exceptions will apply.
- Choose the attendance module (Web or Mobile).
- Save your changes.

Manage Employee-Specific Settings
Use the Select Employee dropdown to assign exceptions to individual employees if needed.- Choose the module (Web/Mobile) for the employee.
- Click Save to update the entry.

Edit or Delete Entries
After saving, entries will appear in a list where you can edit or delete them using the options in the Actions column.
This setup helps streamline attendance management by giving flexibility and control over how employees record their attendance using the HRStop portal.
