Approve attendance requests (reporting manager)

Last updated November 16, 2024 · Tushar Agarwal

HRStop lets you, as a manager, approve/reject attendance requests. Employees submit attendance requests through Employee Self Service. You can easily approve/reject requests such as official work away from office premises (On Duty attendance), missed punches (Request Punches), and justifications for late arrival/early leaving (Justify), based on your organization's policies. When a request is made, reporting managers and admins are notified via email (if notifications are enabled) so they can review requests in a timely manner.

Follow these steps to approve attendance requests as a reporting manager:

  1. Navigate to Main Panel → Attendance.
  2. Attendance requests: Click the Attendance requests option in the page action bar.
  3. A new page opens, showing the list of attendance requests submitted by employees.
  4. Filter the results by selecting Employees directly reporting to you/Employees under your reporting line.
  5. You can also select employees individually by employee level, status, start date, and end date, and click the Filter button.
  6. Approve/Reject or Delete the request by clicking the icons under the Actions column.

You can also approve, reject, or delete requests in bulk: after selecting the employees, choose the option (Approve/Reject/Delete) from the Actions drop-down. All changes are made instantly.
