Add VPF in salary

Follow these steps to add VPF in salary:

1. Navigate to Control Panel → Payroll → Salary Template.

2. Edit the salary template to which you want to add VPF.

3. Go to the "Deduction Component" section.

4. In the "Deduction Component" section:
– Name: VPF
– Value/percentage: Enter Zero / percentage
– Pay Frequency: Select "Monthly"
– Click the "Plus" icon in the Action section.

5. Click Next through the remaining steps and then click Finish.

7. The VPF option is now visible in the Employee Salary section.

8. You can update VPF manually or through a bulk update.

Use case:

1. Why add VPF in the Deduction section?

Answer: If you want to add a VPF value for only some employees, or only as a one-time deduction, add VPF in the Deduction Component section.
