Separation requests and approvals
HRStop lets the super admin/admin, or anyone with access, allow employees to raise separation requests and approve or reject them.
- Separation requests raised by the employee
- Separation requests raised by the reporting manager/admin on behalf of the employee
- By the Employee:
- To allow or prevent employees from raising separation requests, update the settings.
- Click Control Panel → Settings → Modules. Enable or disable the option “Enable employee separation request option in self services portal”. When the option is enabled, employees can raise separation requests; when it is disabled, they cannot.
- When the option is enabled, employees can access it by clicking Main Panel → My Home → Separation Request.
- Separation request raised by the reporting manager on behalf of the employee:
- The admin can raise the separation request from Main Panel → My Team → Separation requests → +Create New.
- In the pop-up window, the reporting manager selects the employee and updates the Request date, Expected Relieving date and Notes.
- Separation request raised by the admin on behalf of the employee:
- The admin can raise the separation request from Control Panel → Employee → Separation requests → +Create New.
- In the pop-up window, the admin selects the employee and updates the Request date, Expected Relieving date and Notes.
- Once the separation request is raised, an email notification is sent to the super admin, reporting manager and employee, if notification settings are enabled for them.
- The reporting manager can view/approve/reject the request by clicking Main Panel → My Team → Separation, and the admin can do so by clicking Control Panel → Employees → Separation request.
- Once the separation request is approved, the updated exit date is mapped to the employee profile.
- In the action column, you have the options Add notes, Generate document, Mark as Complete, Deactivate employee and Delete details. Click the respective button for the action you require.
