Broadcast an email

Purpose
To send formal announcements or updates directly to employee inboxes, bypassing the portal.
Steps to broadcast an email
- Navigate to Control Panel → News and Broadcast → Broadcast Email.

Set recipient filters:
Use the filters provided to narrow down your target audience:- Employee Status: Choose Active or Inactive
- Department: Select specific teams/departments
- Location: Filter by office or geographical location
- Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Intern, etc.
- Gender: If relevant to the announcement

Compose the email:
- Subject: Title of the email (e.g., “Reminder: Benefits Enrollment Ends This Friday”)
- Message Body: Write the main content of the announcement. Include links or action steps if necessary.

Optional: Test the email
- Enter a valid test email address in the Test Email field.
- Click Test Email to preview how the email will appear in the recipient's inbox.

Send the email:
Click Send to broadcast the email to all filtered recipients.
Notes
- This email will not appear on the employee dashboard.
- Ensure email addresses are correctly maintained in employee profiles for successful delivery.

HRStop allows you to preview your email broadcast using the Test Email feature.
How to test a broadcast email
- Navigate to Control Panel → News and Broadcast → Broadcast Email.

Compose your message:
- Fill in the Subject and Message Body.
- Add any formatting or links as needed.
- In the Test Email field, enter a valid email address.
- Click Test Email.
=> A copy of the email is sent to the test address, allowing you to:
- Check formatting
- Confirm spelling and grammar
- Verify link functionality
Once you are satisfied, set the recipients and click Send to broadcast the email.
