How to hide any leave category from an employee?

Sometimes, you may have leave types (like Sabbatical or Admin Leave) that should only be visible to HR or managers — not to employees. HRStop allows you to hide such leave categories easily.

Follow these simple steps to do it:

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Go to Control Panel
Log in to your HRStop portal and click on Control Panel from the dashboard or menu.

 Step 2: Click on Settings
Inside the Control Panel, select Settings to access all configuration options.

Step 3: Open the Leaves Section
In Settings, find and click on the Leaves section. This is where all leave-related settings are managed.

Step 4: Select the Leave Category to Hide
You’ll see a list of leave types like:

  • Casual Leave
  • Sick Leave
  • Parental Leave
  • Special Leave

Click on the leave category you want to hide.

Step 5: Enable “Hide leave from employees”
On the leave details page, check the box “Hide leave from employees.”

  • Check this if you don’t want employees to see or request this leave.
  • Leave it unchecked if you want it visible.

Step 6: Save Changes
Click Update to apply the changes. Your settings will be saved immediately.

What Happens Next?

  • Employees will no longer see the hidden leave in their dashboard or while applying.
  • Managers and HR can still view and manage it.
  • Ideal for internal or sensitive leave types.

Why Use This?

  • To keep admin or special leave types private.
  • To simplify the employee view.
  • To protect confidential or management-only leaves.

Summary

By following these 6 steps, you can control which leave categories are visible to employees — keeping your leave system organized, secure, and clear.
