On duty & Work from home

HRStop supports flexible work arrangements through “On Duty” and “Work From Home (WFH)” modules, designed to track and manage offsite workdays efficiently.


Enabling On Duty & WFH:

  1. Navigate to: Control Panel ➝ Settings ➝ Modules.
  2. Scroll to MISCELLANEOUS.
  3. Enable the following:
    • Work From Home Leave Module: Allows employees/admins to manage WFH requests.
    • On Duty Leave Module: Allows management of official offsite duty days.

Admin Actions for On Duty & WFH

A. Approve/Reject Requests:

  • Go to: Control Panel ➝ Leaves ➝ Employees.
  • Click on either On Duty or Work from Home from the top navigation bar.
  • Use filters to sort by status or duration.
  • Use the Approve/Reject icons under the Action column for quick actions.

B. Apply On Behalf of Employees:

  • Click on Apply On Duty or Apply WFH from the respective pages.
  • Fill in the following:
    • Employee Name
    • Date range
    • Reason for request
    • Optional document
    • Status (Approved/Pending)
  • Click Submit.

Employee View and Action – On Duty

Employees can raise On Duty requests if the feature is enabled by the Admin.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Go to: Main Panel ➝ Leaves ➝ View/Apply.
  2. Click on On Duty tab.
  3. Fill out:
    • Date range
    • Reason
    • Upload document (optional)
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Requests will appear in a list with an option to delete until approved.

Reporting Manager – On Duty & WFH Management

A. Apply on Behalf of Employees:

  • Go to: Main Panel ➝ Leaves ➝ Approve.
  • Click on Approve On Duty or Approve WFH.
  • Fill in the employee’s details, duration, reason, document, and set the status.
  • Click Submit.

B. Approve/Reject Requests:

  • In the same view, scroll down to see a list of requests.
  • Use action icons Approve / Reject / Delete).
  • Use bulk actions by selecting multiple checkboxes and choosing action from dropdown.
  • You can also search by employee name.

Changes made here are instantly reflected in the system.
