Steps to Configure Peer Acknowledgement:
- Access Leave Configuration:
- Go to Control Panel > Settings > Leave Section.
- Enable Peer Acknowledgement Module:
- Find and enable the setting for Peer Acknowledgement.
- This activates peer visibility features for leave requests.
- Select Acknowledgement Hierarchy Basis:
- Choose how peers are defined:
- By Reporting Hierarchy: Peers are based on who shares the same manager.
- By Department: Peers belong to the same functional department.

- Define Acknowledgement Scope:
- Decide whose leaves are visible:
- Same Department Only: Employees will only see leave requests from their department.
- Same Manager: All employees reporting to the same manager can see each other’s leaves.
- Entire Organization (optional): Everyone can see all leave applications (less common).

- Optional – Notification Settings:
- You can configure whether peers receive notifications or alerts when someone applies for a leave.
- Save Configuration:
- Click Update to apply all changes.
Employee Experience:
- While applying for a leave, employees may see a list of peers on leave during that time.
- They may be asked to acknowledge a peer’s leave depending on the setup.
- In some setups, peers may only be notified without needing to act.
