Organizational Mood

Purpose

The Organizational Mood feature allows employees to regularly share how they feel at work using simple, anonymous inputs. This helps HR teams and leadership gauge team morale and detect early signs of disengagement, stress, or dissatisfaction.


Steps to Enable and Use Organizational Mood

Step 1: Enable Mood Tracking

  1. Go to: Control Panel → Settings → Engagement
  2. Scroll to Organizational Mood
  3. Toggle the setting to Enable Organizational Mood
  4. Click Save

Step 2: Employee Experience

Once enabled:

  • The Mood-o-Meter widget appears on each employee’s dashboard.
  • Employees can submit their mood by choosing from 5 mood states
  • It provides option such as Very Bad, Bad, Neutral, Good, Great.

Employees can submit this daily or weekly, depending on company reminders.


Admin View and Mood Analytics

To view collected data:

  1. Navigate to: Analytics → Engagement → Organizational Mood
  2. Use filters to refine your search:
    • Date Range
    • Department
    • Business Unit
    • Location
    • Employee (for named mood submissions)
  3. View summary statistics:
    • Average Mood Score by department or week
    • Mood trends over time
    • Mood distribution pie charts
  4. Click Export to download reports in Excel format for:
    • Weekly reviews
    • Leadership dashboards
    • Engagement strategy refinement
