In HRStop, tasks are sub-units of projects. Mapping them to departments ensures proper responsibility assignment and helps with detailed timesheet logging.
Navigation Path:
Control Panel > Timesheet > Dropdown beside Manage Project -> Project Task
Steps to Add and Map Tasks:
- Click Project Task in the dropdown.
- Click Add New Task.
- Fill in:

Title | Task name (e.g., UI Design, QA Testing) |
Project | Select the project to which this task belongs |
Department | Choose the responsible department |
Description | Define the task scope |
- Click Save.
Optional: Bulk Import Tasks
- Use the Import option to add multiple tasks via CSV.
- Required fields: Task Name, Project Name, Department, Description.
