So, we will be discussing regarding the assets (resources such as laptops, phones, or other company property assigned to employees).
For assets, we will be first referring to the settings (configuration options) that should be enabled in order to enable the assets module and what all settings we can enable or disable regarding this.
For that, you have to go to the control panel, then to the settings, then go to the modules option (section where different features can be turned on or off).
Once here on the module section, search for the assets and enable the assets module from here.
And you have two more options available in the settings of assets, like if you want to enable the asset acknowledgement (confirmation given by employees that they have received/verified the assigned asset) by the employees when they see that some assets are assigned to them, they can also acknowledge it if it is correct or not.
So they can, if you enable the asset acknowledgement, they will be able to provide the acknowledgement regarding the same if you enable it.
And if you want to make the comment mandatory (require employees to add a remark while acknowledging) from there and when they are acknowledging the asset, you can also check mark this option as well and click on update (save changes).
So in this way, you will be able to see the assets module in your control panel and enable the asset acknowledgement for the employees from here accordingly.
