🔹 Steps to Create Asset Categories in HRStop

Login to HRStop Control Panel
- Access your HRStop Admin Portal.
- Navigate to Control Panel → Assets → View/Add → Asset Categories.

Click on “Add New Category”
- In the Asset Categories section, click + Add New to create a new category.

Enter Category Details
- Category Name → Example: Laptop or Mobile Devices.
- Description (Optional) → Provide a short detail like “Company-issued laptops.”
- Parent Category (Optional) → If this category belongs under another, select it.
- Code Pattern (Optional) → For auto-generated asset codes, e.g., LAP000 for laptops.

Save the Category
- Click Save/Update.
- The new category will now appear in the Asset Categories List in HRStop.
