HRStop provides complete flexibility to define the minimum leave period for each leave category. This allows organizations to customize whether employees can apply for Half Day, Full Day, or Quarter Day leave based on their internal policies.
How to Configure the Minimum Leave Period
You can set the minimum leave period for any leave category by following the steps below:

Go to the Control Panel
- Navigate to Control Panel → Settings → Leaves.

Edit the Desired Leave Category
- Select the specific leave category you want to configure.
- Click on Edit for that category.

Enable the Minimum Leave Period
- In the category settings, you will find the option to choose the minimum leave period.

Enable the required option such as:
- Full Day
- Half Day
- Quarter Day
- Select the option that aligns with your organizational needs.

Update the Settings
- After selecting the appropriate minimum leave period, click on Update to save the changes.
How It Appears to Employees
Once the configuration is done:
- Go to the Main Panel → Leaves → Apply.
- Select the leave category you edited.
- You will now see the option to apply for Half Day, Full Day, or Quarter Day—based on the settings you enabled.
This ensures that employees can apply for leave in the correct format as per your policy.
