Leave approval by the Reporting manager

As a Reporting Manager in HRStop, you can seamlessly review, approve, or reject leave requests submitted by your direct reportees.

This feature ensures that leave requests are reviewed in a timely manner and that managers have full visibility into team availability.

Steps to Approve or Reject Leave Requests

Follow the steps below to manage leave approvals:

  1. Navigate to: Main Panel -> Leaves
  2. Click on the "Approve" tab
    • This tab is visible only if you are assigned as a reporting manager.
    • It displays all pending leave requests submitted by your reportees.
  3. Review the list of leave requests
    For each entry, you’ll see:
    • Employee Name
    • Leave Type
    • Leave Period (From - To)
    • Reason for Leave
  4. Take action for each request:
    • Select Approve to grant the leave
    • Select Reject to deny the leave
  5. Click "Submit"
    • Your action will be recorded.
    • The employee will be notified of the leave status update.

Notes:

  • You will only see leave requests from:
    • Employees who directly report to you
    • Employees under your reporting line if you are designated as an HOD (Head of Department)
  • All leave actions (approval, rejection, or changes) are tracked in the system for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Employees will receive automated notifications upon status updates, provided notifications are enabled in their profile settings.
