Managing Surveys

Purpose

The Survey Management Dashboard in HRStop allows admins to monitor live survey activity, measure employee engagement, and evaluate insights from employee responses.


Accessing the Survey Dashboard

  • Go to Control Panel → Engagement → Surveys 
  • You will see all created surveys organized under:
    • Total
    • Draft
    • Active
    • Closed

Each entry shows:

  • Title
  • Trigger Date
  • Participants
  • Status
  • Survey Format
  • Total Questions

Key Actions and Analysis Options

1. View Survey Participation & Status

  • Filter surveys by:
    • Status (Active, Draft, Closed)
    • Department
    • Date

2. Analyze Participation Metrics

Click on any survey to see:

  • Overall participation percentage
  • Drop-off rate
  • Response breakdown by:
    • Department
    • Designation
    • Location
    • Age group

This allows you to pinpoint low engagement areas.


3. Analyze Individual Questions

Tab: Individual Questions

  • View each question and how respondents answered
  • For rating/numeric questions: see averages
  • For MCQs: see the distribution of selected options

4. View Responses Per Employee

  • Tab: Employee View
  • See how each user answered (if not anonymous)
  • Useful for performance-linked surveys or assessments

5. Export and Visualize Results

You can:

  • Download survey responses as Excel or CSV
  • Export graphs/charts for reporting or presentations

6. Take Survey Actions

For each survey, you can:

  • Preview: See how it appears to participants
  • Clone: Create a new survey using the same structure
  • Close: End survey manually before end date
  • Delete: Remove the survey permanently

Best Practices for Managing Surveys

  • Regularly clone high-performing surveys for reuse in engagement cycles
  • Close low-participation surveys early and investigate response issues
  • Use tags and demographics to analyze sentiment in specific groups
