Purpose
The Quiz feature in HRStop helps HRs and team leads engage employees through knowledge tests, pulse checks, training feedback, or fun trivia. Quizzes can be rewarded with points, tracked for participation, and configured based on audience filters.
Step-by-Step Guide to Create a Quiz
Step 1: Navigate to the Quiz Section
- Go to: Control Panel → Engagement → Quiz

You will see a dashboard showing:
- Total quizzes
- Active, Draft, and Closed statuses
- Participant counts and reward metrics
Step 2: Click “+ Add” to Create a New Quiz
Step 3: Define Quiz Basics
Field | Description |

Quiz Title | Enter a descriptive name (e.g., “HR Policy Awareness Quiz”, “Cybersecurity Basics”) |
Description | Outline the purpose or context of the quiz for employees |
Quiz Duration | Enter the total time allowed to complete the quiz (in minutes) |
Step 4: Define Participants
Choose one of the following:
- All Employees – quiz will be accessible by the entire workforce

Filtered Audience – select based on:
- Department
- Designation
- Location
- Business Unit (BU)
- Tags
Tip: This is helpful when targeting teams for compliance training, onboarding quizzes, or L&D certifications.
Step 5: Configure Reward Points
Reward points can be assigned to:
- Attempting the entire quiz (e.g., 10 points for participation)
- Attempting individual questions (e.g., 2 points per correct answer)
Field | Description |

Reward Points on Attempt | Enter fixed points if user completes the quiz |
Reward Per Correct Answer | Configure points per correctly answered question (optional) |
These points are credited automatically based on quiz settings and can be redeemed later (as configured in the Engagement Settings module).
Step 6: Click “Save” to Create the Quiz Framework
After saving the basic details, the system will take you to the question builder.
Step 7: Add Quiz Questions
There are two ways to add questions:
a. Manual Question Entry
- Click Add Question

Fill in:
- Question Text
- Question Type: Single Choice or Multiple Choice
- Answer Options: Minimum 2 options required
- Mark the Correct Answer(s)
- Is this Mandatory? toggle (optional)
Repeat for each question.
b. Import Questions via CSV
- Click Import CSV
- Download sample template
- Fill in question type, question text, options, correct answers
- Upload back using the import feature
Ideal For: Bulk quizzes with more than 10–20 questions
Final Step: Save & Publish
- Once all questions are added, click Publish Quiz to launch it
- You may also Save as Draft to return later
