Managing Employee Onboarding

The Employee Onboarding module in HRStop allows Admins or Super Admins to create, manage, and monitor onboarding processes for new employees. This feature simplifies and streamlines the onboarding experience by enabling admins to configure onboarding checklists, assign tasks, and view onboarding progress—all from a centralized dashboard.


Key Features:

  • View all assigned onboardings
  • Create and configure onboarding checklists
  • Assign and manage onboarding tasks
  • Filter onboarding data by department or designation
  • Perform quick actions such as preview, edit, delete, and trigger onboarding

How to Manage Onboarding:

1. Access the Onboarding Section:

  • Navigate to:
    Control Panel → Employee → Onboarding

A new page will open displaying a list of existing onboarding processes in a tabular format.


2. Create an Onboarding Checklist:

  • Click on the +Configure button (available in the page navigation bar).
  • Define the onboarding process and add tasks the employee needs to complete.
  • Save the checklist to make it available for assignment.

3. View Assigned Employee Onboardings:

  • Click the Onboardings button (also in the page navigation bar).
  • A new page will appear showing a list of all employee onboardings with their respective details.

4. Search & Filter Options:

  • Use the Search Field to locate a specific onboarding or employee.
  • Filter the list by Department or Designation to narrow down results.

5. Perform Actions on Onboarding Entries:

Each onboarding entry includes options under the Actions column:

  • Preview Onboarding – View the onboarding in detail
  • Trigger Onboarding – Start the onboarding for selected employees
  • Tasks – View pending tasks assigned to employees
  • Edit – Update steps or checklist items
  • Delete – Remove the onboarding process

Instant Updates:

All changes made in the onboarding module are reflected instantly in the system.
