Bulk apply leaves

HRStop offers a convenient Bulk Apply Leave feature that allows admins to apply leaves for multiple employees at once. This is especially useful during company-wide holidays, training programs, or special events where applying leave individually for each employee would be time-consuming.


When to Use Bulk Apply

  • Company-wide leave declaration (e.g., office shutdown)
  • Team outings or offsite training
  • Mass leave for specific departments or shifts

How to Bulk Apply Leaves (Admin)

Follow these steps to apply leaves in bulk:

1. Go to the Employee Leave Section

Navigate to:
Control Panel > Leaves > Employees

2. Open the Bulk Apply Option

  • Click the dropdown beside the Apply Leave button in the top navigation bar.
  • Select Bulk Apply from the dropdown.

3. Fill in the Bulk Apply Form

A new page will open. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

  • Leave Type: Choose the type of leave to apply.
  • Leave Period: Select the start and end date.
  • Leave Status: Choose whether to keep the status as Pending or Approved.
  • Reason: Mention the purpose of the leave.

4. Select Employees

You can choose employees:

  • By Department, Designation, or Shift,
    OR
  • Scroll down and manually select employees from the list displayed.

5. Notification Option

  • Check the Send Notification box if you want to inform selected employees via email.

6. Submit the Request

  • Click Apply for Selected Employees to proceed.
  • Use Reset if you wish to clear the form and start over.

Confirmation & Review

  • A success or error message will appear based on the action taken.
  • Changes are applied instantly.
  • To verify, go to the Employee Leaves section.

Note

This action applies the selected leave type to all chosen employees in one go. Make sure you review employee selection and leave details carefully before submitting.
