FAQ

To improve dashboard performance and reduce load times, HRStop now uses a caching mechanism. As a result, dashboard data is automatically refreshed every 15 minutes.

What does this mean?

When you make updates (such as clearing attendance, expenses, tickets, or timesheets), those changes will not reflect on the dashboard immediately. Instead, the dashboard will show the updated information after the next auto-refresh cycle, which occurs every 15 minutes.

How can I refresh the data manually?

If you want to see the latest updates right away, you can manually refresh the dashboard by clicking the refresh icon(🔄) located on the top-right corner of the dashboard, just below the blue header.

Where can I check the last updated time?

A timestamp is shown at the top of the dashboard indicating when the data was last refreshed.

Why was this change made?

This update was introduced to:

  • Improve dashboard load speed
  • Enhance performance, especially for users with slower internet connections
  • Reduce server load from repeated real-time requests

What if the data still doesn’t update after 15 minutes?

If you continue to see outdated data after 15 minutes:

  1. Click the manual refresh icon.
  2. Clear your browser cache and try again.
  3. If the issue persists, contact the HRStop support team with a screenshot and description.
